Working for Yourself is Better Than Any Degree
If anyone turned around 5 years ago and told me I would be in the position I am in today, I would have laughed in their face.
Let me start from the beginning; I never paid attention in school, dropped out at a young age, and never bothered studying for a degree. In no way am I saying that is the right thing to do for anyone but in my opinion, if you can’t focus or study in school, leave and gain some life experience and then focus on learning when you have matured and will focus on learning.
I used to be the troublemaker and the one that always disrupted the class yet when it came to taking my exams, I got some of the top grades possible without even revising. Don’t ask me how. I refused to do homework, HATED writing anything because it was too much effort, and I also didn’t enjoy writing or learning. Obviously, when you are at school, your parents are a safety net so you don’t really worry about the consequences of not learning.
I left school straight after my exams and started full-time employment in the most basic of industries with a mediocre salary, although to me, I felt like a millionaire. There was just one problem that existed, I never fully understood which career path I wanted to go down and this continued for a further 10 years.
