Master Self-Motivation with These Easy Steps
I have been in employment from the age of 13 and have never really earned a significant income that makes me want to jump out of the bed in the morning. Yet I have never slept in past 7 am, never been out of a job, and never been backed up on work because I am still extremely self-motivated for different reasons than money. Most people will only be motivated by the money factor, which is an acceptable reason to be motivated but it shouldn’t be the only reason.
I currently wake up at 5 or 6 am and work until 11 pm whilst travelling the world. I have an 8 hour a day job, I write content for SEO agencies, I run freelance services online, run a personal website/blog and am in the process of launching 2 business online, not to forget that I am studying a university degree part-time too. That’s just to give you an idea of what I do daily, so it is understandable that I know how to self-motivate.
As I work for myself it is vital that I know exactly how to self motivate because I have no one there to push me or encourage me. Everything has to be managed on my schedule and be done when I decide, although, obviously I have to meet client deadlines and university deadlines.
You should think of motivation like a fire, it will start off really strong, such as when you get a new job or start a new project. Then as time goes on…
