16 Digital Nomad Visas You Can Get in 2022

Traveling around the world while working online has been a lifelong dream for many. Imagine having a vacation every single day in a foreign country while still being able to work. Although this might sound amazing, working overseas while traveling on a tourist visa is, in all consciousness, prohibited.

The maximum number of days you can travel on a tourist visa is 90 days in most countries, and it’s not a walk in the park renewing them. This is without the addition of work restrictions and trying to find long-term accommodation etc.

But fear not! All that trouble will soon be a thing of the past for online freelancers and remote workers as countries are now recognizing the need to implement digital nomad visas. This will allow people to stay in the country for extended periods of time whilst having the freedom to work and move on when necessary.

The reason for this is to attract foreigners to work and contribute to the country’s economy which is even more important after the impact of COVID-19. There aren’t many countries that are taking part in this, but eventually, the majority of countries will support some form of digital nomad visa, I hope.

Digital Nomadism and Its Rise in Popularity

Digital nomads are people who work remotely while also traveling to different locations around the world. These digital nomads make use of the internet and technology to work as freelancers or remote workers.
